In development
In Bhadaur, a lush green village of cotton fields and dirt-pitch cricket, nothing is private. The aunties run the news, the uncles run commentary from the rooftops, and the elders arrange marriages whether you asked or not.
Anjali tells it all her way: funny, fond and a little nosy. Then she lands on a college campus in Texas, where rain is not a blessing, football is a religion, and a quarterback named Rohan wears number 7. The plan she has been working on her whole life is about to get tested.
Comic adaptation in progress
A spooky-silly picture book for little readers who like a good scare and a better laugh. Story by Shayden and "Daddy" Shenwari, hand illustrated by Dago Braute.
Next in the series: Liam's Zombie Parade.
Available in hardcover and ebookI love the art of storytelling and building worlds from my imagination. Nothing excites me more than watching people explore those worlds, connect with my characters, and share their own theories with me. That's what makes creating stories so rewarding, and why I'll never stop doing it!Zain Shenwari · Founder, Zane Comics
